For Project this quarter I made a logo for the team. Not sure if we are going to use it, but I had much fun making it! Our team name is InChoq, which stands for “Inspirerend choqueren”, in English it stand for Inspiring Shocking. Made this in Illustrator with the help of kuler for some color combination’s. Anyway, see the logo below!
For Visual Interface Design I and a classmate called Mark Tunzi made this movie! It cost something like 6000 photo’s to make this movie. All where made with a Canon EOS 5DmkII and a tripod to stabilize the movie. The theme of this movie is for our project, so it has some connection with it, but it may be hard to see at first.
The rest of assignments can be viewed below. First two images are actually 3 images, but WordPress cropped it to a square image, click on the image to see all of them. First two are two sets of icons we needed to create, first set is for childeren and the second is for adult people.
The last 3 images are icons for on a website. I made them as minimal as possible so that it’s clear what they are for. I tried to be original, but it’s hard to do so with the home button because it get’s less clear pretty fast if you try something else. The icons also have some connection with our project, specially the help icon with the broken pill.
We did our final presentation today, and it went pretty well. I have a good feeling about it, and I hope for a 8/10 as a result but I suspect a 7/10 because of some questions we’ve got.
Anyway, you can see the presentation below (movie and presentation made by Mark Tunzi).
(sound is skipping in the video, ignore it please)
For project I took the liberty to design a new logo because we got some feedback during show and tell that told us that the old logo was reminding our audience to a hospital. I made some sketches and tonight I made a final concept of the logo. The website that we are making are for volunteers that are 55 years or older and want to work in a care center or such (so with old people). Tell me what you think about it, what is the first thought that comes to your mind when you see this?
The sketches (in black) are below, as well as the final concept (in color).
Yesterday we had a project day We worked on project the whole day, well whole day… about 6/7 hours. We did a lot, we made a concept which I am very happy about!
Well, if you want to check the progress you can see it by clicking here (Dutch).
