Me
My name is Nick. I was born on the 12th of January in 1988 in the city of Spijkenisse in The Netherlands. I have blond half-long hair and I’m about 1.85 meters tall. My clothing wardrobe is pretty casual but it’s still quite diverse. The accessories part of me is quite a different story, I try to get new things and I mostly want other things than normal people do, think about: Linux, Mac, Google Nexus One.
The image right of this text is a avatar I made showing me with bunny ears. The bunny ears are put in to show the public my zodiac sign: the rabbit. Does the zodiac sign mean much to me? No, not really, but I think it’s really funny to put that in and the zodiac sign says a lot of me as a person. The rabbit is one of the most delicate animals among all 12 animals. “Rabbits are usually kind and sweet and of course, popular people. Nobody ignores them, for they are good company and know how to make the best of themselves”

I like to make pictures with my Canon EOS 5DmkII when I have the time. I like to make pictures of nature, specially macro photo’s, because I think it’s an important part of our world and I want to show that to people.A other really big interest for me is Japan. The Japanse rock and metal music is something that interests me very much, just like the anime and Japanese movies.
In the past I studied for a IT related job. At the end of my study I found out that the IT world doesn’t fit me at all, I can’t be that creative and doing your job isn’t enough for people to compliment you, it’s a bit ungrateful although it is important. These days I study for Communication and Multimedia Design, in short it will teach me how to make nice interfaces and design other stuff like posters, banners, websites and even products.
My friends and the people around me describe me as very friendly, open and assured. People describe me as funny, and that can sometimes be a problem when I need to be serious. I like to have fun, alone or with friends. My favourite music is J-rock and J-metal although normal rock and metal will also work for me. I like to game a lot to, although I don’t spend a lot of time to this any more because of my study.
